Welcome to tranquility at Shady River Cabin. We are located in Ivanhoe, Virginia on the New River. The New River is in the front, and the New River Trail is in the back. Our cabin is very family friendly. There is a great room with kitchen, bath and two bedrooms with queen size bed. on the upper floor. On the lower lever is a recreation basement with a bath. We have an upper deck that is covered and a lower patio that is covered so you can enjoy the river in all weather. Streaming TV and Wi-Fi are available in each room with free Direct Stream with Roku. Free land line phone is also provided. The full-sized kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, utensils, dish washer with pods and two coffee makers, including drip and pod. An ice maker is in the full-size refrigerator. Towels and linens provided. Many games, books, and magazines provided for your relaxation. In the walkout recreational basement we have a regulation size ping pong table, a large screen TV for gaming and streaming and a second full size refrigerator for your convenience. The spacious lawn with fire pit is perfect for the provided corn hole game or other outdoor activities. The New River with private access is only a short walk on the large lawn perfect for star gazing, chasing butterflies and catching fireflies. We have a free electric bike charging station and an air compressor for use. The New River Trail is within a short walking distance. Shady River Cabin is located approximately halfway on the trail between Galax and Pulaski. We are also 1.2 miles from the Ivanhoe Birding Trail. There is a gas grill provided with fuel and private parking beside the cabin. We have full sized washer and dryer, central air and heat and a fire pit with complimentary firewood. No extra guest fee or cleaning fee. All you need to provide is food and your toys. CHILDREN ARE VERY WELCOME
