Aloha & Welcome to Princeville’s newest and most family friendly rental period!! As a true 3bedroom property w/ AC, this unit has all the private space for every member of the family. With over 135, YES, 135 games and puzzles (including the original Atari) you will yourself hoping for a rainy day to just stay in and play. Nihilani is a first class community w/ a huge pool and hot tub that is perfect for all ages.
Come stay at the coveted North Shore of Kauai! This is a 3 Bedroom 3 Bathroom highly sought after condo at Nihilani in Princeville.
Our unit is air conditioned throughout.
The master bedroom includes a king bed and a spacious on-suite bathroom. The second bedroom also includes a king bed and a bathroom connected by a hallway.
The third bedroom has a Queen bed.
The condo is fully equipped to serve all of your living needs! We recently purchased the condo replacing everything making it well equipped with new linens, bedding, and other supplies! The living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, which can accommodate the best of chef's, a dining room table that will accommodate 8 and an eat-in kitchen with bar stools that can accommodate an additional 2 guests.
The living area has a comfortable couch that you can sink into and a coffee table to prop up your feet at the end of a long day. The main living area has air conditioning but honestly we prefer to turn on the ceiling fans and open all of the windows and take in the trade winds Hawaii is so famous for.
Our condo has cable television, Wi-Fi, high speed internet (we cannot guarantee connection as we are at the mercy of our internet provider, but the connection has been great thus far). You will also have the use of the garage and one parking space just outside the garage. We have surf boards, multiple boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, sand toys, and many other beach items.
The property has 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king size bed, air conditioning and a ceiling fan and the master bathroom has two vanities, a large soaking tub/shower separate toilet facility and a large closet. The second bedroom has a king size bed, ceiling fan and a hallway bathroom which has a vanity and a shower/tub combination. The third bedroom has a queen bed, a ceiling fan and a hall bathroom which is a shared guest bathroom with a shower/tub combination and large vanity. The bedrooms are fully equipped with high quality luxury hotel quality bed linens and the bathrooms are equipped with excellent towels. We also provide high quality cabana towels for your use and enjoyment at the pool or local beaches. Linens and towels are inspected on a regular basis and are cycled frequently to ensure quality and comfort. You will also find a hair dryer in the master bathroom and an iron in the master.

Fresh Bite (Hanalei - love the chicken sandwich but everything is great, food truck best for lunch)
Bubba's Burgers (Kapaa/Poipu) - Best for lunch…yummy
Barracuda (Hanalei) - Good date night option, tapas-style
Hukilau Lanai (Kapaa - reservations for very nice dinner)
Oasis (Kapaa - reservations for very nice dinner)
Beach House (Poipu - recommend reservations)
Wishing Well Shave Ice (Hanalei) - Sweet treat!
Pink's Ice Cream (Hanalei) - yummy locally made ice cream.
Java Kai - a great spot to grab and sip your morning coffee and bagel sandwich or afternoon tea.
Grocery Shopping:
Costco- we also like to cook at home so we always stock up on essentials upon arrival. The Kauai
Costco is about 10 minutes from the Lihue airport in the opposite direction so we usually stop in on our way to the condo after landing at the airport. Foodland - located in the Princeville shopping center, approximately one mile from the condo, you can pick up grocery items for your stay.
Lappert's Ice Cream - grab yourself a sweet treat or treat the kids. Lappert's is located in the Princeville shopping center.
The Dolphin fish market (Hanalei) - great fresh fish, poke and sushi (also have a restaurant).
Beaches - we absolutely love Hanalei Bay for the surfing and boogie boarding! Anini Beach is fun for shell searching, we usually take the hiking trail (access near the Westin in Princeville). The hike is a bit steep at times so if you are not up for that you can always drive. Anini is also the place for snorkeling.
Tunnels Beach is in Ha'ena near the end of the road and is a 20 minute drive, this beach has great snorkeling and has a great view of Bali Hai. Hideway's beach is also wonderful and is located about a mile away from the house, parking is limited, and there is a hike involved but once there you will enjoy this small secluded spot.
Hiking
- we love the Napali coast hike (Hanakapiai Falls), Stone Damn (Kilauea), Ho'opi'i Falls (Kapaa), Queens Bath (closed during winter months due to dangerous conditions), and Sleeping Giant for a sunrise hike(West of Wailua). For Napali Coast, you will find the trailhead at the end of the Kuhio highway (hwy 56) in Ha'ena state park (reservations required).
Golf - Princeville is home to the Makai golf club (across the street from your unit!!)
Spa - spa treatments are plentiful at the Westin and 1 Hotel (both located within one mile of Nihilani.
Other - you may also consider a helicopter tour, boat tour, snorkeling tour, scuba diving, biking, horseback riding or renting a kayak/stand up paddle board. Our favorite excursion is tubing the irrigation tunnels through Kauai Backcountry Adventures!
