If you are looking for the perfect beach house to base your HANALEI SURF adventures, this is it! Cross over the first one-way bridge on Kauai's North Shore and you are in Old Hawaii -- enchanting Hanalei. There, in a grove of palm trees and just 150 yards from Hanalei Bay is where you'll find Palm One - a house where you can relax and enjoy life at its best - and we have AC in both bedrooms as well as the living room!
The space
Just steps to the Pavilion Beach access yet set back on a quiet cul-de-sac, the house is bright and airy, and every room opens onto a covered lanai. There is a barbecue and picnic table on the lanai overlooking the gardens. The trade winds wonderfully flow through this house but we also have newly installed air conditioning throughout the house.
The living room, with its open-beamed ceiling and skylights, separates the two bedrooms. There is a King-sized bed in one bedroom (new Organic Avocado Mattress), two twins in the other (each an Organic Avocado Mattress), and a futon bed in the living room. For that extra person, there is ample room to sleep on the couch as well! There are two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer and a completely enclosed outdoor hot and cold shower for rinsing off after a swim.
Please note, this house is a vintage and yet-to-be-remodeled traditional Hanalei Beach house so please look carefully at the pictures. Our lower rental price reflects the fact that we haven't remodeled it yet - but the location is unbeatable and we have all of the beach toys if you want the classic Hanalei experience!
It is an easy walk to restaurants, farmer's market, historical sites and shops -- and best of all -- to the beach at beautiful Hanalei Bay.
Activities nearby: North Shore activities include surfing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking on the Hanalei River, tennis, hiking, helicopter rides and horseback riding. Five-minute drive to Princeville, golfing, shopping and the Princeville Hotel with gourmet restaurants and breathtaking views of Kauai's North Shore.
With the rental of our home we include beach gear for our guests at NO additional cost!
