Property is very comfortable, exceptionally clean and conveniently located to all local area attractions and activities. The kitchen and main bath are fully renovated and the entire house is hard-wood floors and freshly painted inside. The house is just steps from Cornfield Point Rocky Beach and less than a five minute walk to the Cornfield Point Sandy Beach. There is a great outdoor shower and large yard as well as a deck equipped with gas grill for outdoor eating. There is standard parking for three cars, but the yard can also be used for guest vehicles. All of the bedrooms and the living room have cable television and a/c is ample throughout the house. There is a basketball court and playscape for the kids at the association town house. There is also a tennis court right behind the house that is newly renovated. This beach town is great for family bike riding, walking and jogging. There is a convenience store in walking distance from the property.
Within a five mile radius you can find a grocery store, department store, and several other shops (Marshalls, Walmart, Pier 1, Starbucks, etc). You can also find unique stores for antiques and eclectic furniture. There are many restaurants in the same area including many popular seafood restaurants. Don't forget to stop at any one of several great ice cream shops.
Outlet shopping is within about 15 miles of the property. There are many attractions nearby. Within five miles of the property you can find both miniature golf and bowling. Kid City is located in Middletown, Mystic Seaport is a great option, the classic Carousel is open in Madison, there is a local place to 'mine' for gems and many other kid friendly places and things to do. Also not far off are two casinos (Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun). Further up into central CT, you can find tubing, water parks, theme parks, and other family friendly activities. The train is also not far away and makes many stops along the CT shore and can take you to NYC. There are both local trains and AMTRAK running from town. Interstate 95 is within 10 miles of the property. This is the perfect CT shore vacation desintaion.
