This charming A-frame has a cozy, romantic feel inside. While it is best suited for a couple or small family, the cabin can sleep up to 6 people. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a spiral staircase off the open concept living area that leads to a sleeping loft with matching, built-in single beds and a private 1/2 bath. If you need additional sleeping space, the sofa folds down into a bed. There are seasonal views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Lake’s End Marina provides boat, canoe, kayak, and paddle board rentals only 2 miles from Ursa Minor. The area is renowned for its trout fishing. With easy access to both Nantahala Lake and the nearby Nantahala River, there is something for traditional and fly-fishers alike. Hiking opportunities abound in Nantahala, from easy kid friendly hiking on the 2 acres at Ursa Minor to more challenging hikes along the nearby Appalachian and Bartram Trails. Numerous white water rafting and kayaking outfitters are within 30 minutes of Ursa Minor including the Nantahala Outdoor Center.
