Welcome to our Cape Escape! This 2BR/2BA, 1250 sq ft. single level home is our long-time dream-come-true, and we hope it is the perfect place to enjoy and unwind on the Cape! The space is bright and airy with lots of windows, skylights, and recently refinished hardwood floors.
Located in a quiet residential neighborhood off Rte. 28, this is the perfect getaway. The area has many wonderful routes for biking, hiking, and jogging. It is only a 5-minute walk to the peaceful Swan Pond, so be sure to bring your kayaks! Or take a short drive to one of the many family-friendly Nantucket sound beaches nearby. Our favorite is Seagull Beach (5 min drive), one of the largest beaches in Yarmouth complete with a snack bar, bathhouse, and adequate parking. Travel a little farther to Parker River Beach, with a children’s playground, snack-bar, clean bathhouse, gazebo for shade during the day, and community concerts at night. Weekly beach passes can be obtained through the Yarmouth Town website for $100/week (in season). The house is also a short 1-2 mile’s drive to many area attractions, such as bike trails, mini golf, “Best of Cape” restaurants, supermarkets, golf courses, Cape Cod Inflatable Park, and the Whydah Pirate Museum, to just name a few.
Renters will enjoy the open concept living room/kitchen/dining room that is fully apportioned. Sleep comfortably in two primary bedrooms complete with new furniture; mattresses, bedding, and Smart TVs. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a comfortable medium firm mattress, and the second bedroom has a full/double medium firm mattress. There is comfortable den with a flat screen TV that you can stream your favorite channels through a Xfinity Flex Box. There is also large capacity washer & dryer in the 2nd bathroom and linens/towels are provided.
Central A/C operated through Smart thermostats/sensors makes relaxing & sleeping indoors comfortable. 400 Mbps WIFI and a variety of USB & USB-C charging outlets throughout the house make streaming and staying connected effortless. Ring security system (exterior areas only) is to monitor property during non-use and will be deactivated during rental periods.
Catch the sunrise with your morning coffee on the Adirondack chairs on the front patio or relax and dine out on the large, fenced in, landscaped, backyard complete with cushioned patio & conversation sets. Other outdoor amenities include a newly updated deck & outdoor shower enclosure, Weber gas grill, and a vintage stone fireplace to make s’mores and keep cozy in the evening. We also have beach equipment in the large shed (umbrella, beach chairs, and coolers).
