- Lihue – This is the Kauai county seat and has your larger stores such as Walmart, and Costco, HomeDepot, Kmart, Macy’s, and other specialty stores in the Kukui Grove Shopping Center area, and a few interesting shops in or near Kalapaki Beach, Kilohana Plantation, and Puhi Village Plaza.
South Shore
- Koloa – There are a few shops and galleries to browse in the small downtown area.
- Poipu – There are a number of shops boutiques, jewelers and galleries in Poipu Shopping Village, The Shops at Kukul’ula, and within the various resort complexes.
West Shore
- Waimea – There are a few shops with Hawaiian collectibles, jewelry and artwork in the downtown area.
- Hanapepe – This town is know for its many local artists and galleries. You’ll love browsing the handmade ceramics, artwork, jewelry and other Kauai specialty products.
